Seriously a great game. Captures the world of Mad Max almost perfectly. You don't get too many good video games based off of movies. Note: This game is not a third person shooter, though, there are a few guns. This game plays a lot like the Batman Arkham games with its fluid hand to hand combat. You'll spend the majority of your time driving and engaging in vehicular combat which Mad Max is known for its crazy car chases. However you can leave your vehicle anytime to explore the wasteland on foot, but I wouldn't recommend it. The graphics on the environment are beautiful even though its just a huge desert. The Good: Huge beautiful open world with random weather such as sandstorms, dust devils, good lighting system with realistic shade (when a cloud passes over the sun it creates a realistic shadow of it. Also the game's frame rate is pretty good overall (I'm not a guy who obsesses over frame rate as long its not as bad as Borderlands The Pre-Sequel on Xbox One and PS4). Fun fluid melee combat ( I can tell this game's combat was inspired by the Arkham games as it is very similar which is not a bad thing). Your car IS your car! ( Mad Max brings car is basically build your own sub sandwich. You can upgrade your car to make it better but you are not restricted to only being able to increase the car to its max. You want spikes on your car you add them, but later you don't like the look you can remove them without having to pay scrap and they are free to reattach anytime. Or you want to degrade your vehicle because you want more of a challenge, well you can do that. (this also applies to the Max's character upgrade system. The Bad: This game's world feels empty, you'll still come across frequent patrol groups and convoys, but don't expect to find any lively cities that will have activities, or a surplus of side quests you can get from strangers. Also the missions can feel repetitive, "go clear out this place", "go find X amount of scrap". But overall I believe it is a really good game, you may think different since everyone has different tastes and opinions. Read full review

Its got some good gameplay with the driving and fighting. Collecting the cars is kinda pointless. Story is about what youd expect. Theres too much artificial difficulty in the main story where things are made more difficult for those parts and not the rest of the game. I like consistancy in a games difficulty. Like when you can hit the center of the fairway every time until youre playing Tiger then you cant even find the golf course.

10/10. Great 2015 game, great price, and looks amazing on 4k tvs. Can be grindy but the vehicular combat is wonderful, feels like the Mad Max movies! Plays similar to Batman Arkham games. So if you enjoy those, you'll love this.

This game is overall fun since it involves good combat and race mechanics with smooth difficulty level curve evolution. It's full of bugs and one of them (Pink Eye) made me lost all my game for over 30hours putted in.. Had no help from developers and not even excuses or real listening.. Had to fight with Microsoft to get refund.. WB Games is laughing at it's clients!

I grew up on the original Mad Max films...always lived them, not sure how i missed this gem that came out in 2015 but here we are. So far, a few hours in the game looks great, plays like Arkham or the Shadow of Mordor/War games and has a great ambient soundtrack. I could NOT be happier with this game so far.
